Join me in my purpose built pottery studio in Poole for beginners workshops that will help you learn about clay, different techniques, glazing and more.

Here are the first few. Let me know your interest in attending by completing the short form. You will be the first to know by email when registration for the workshops are open. All shorter workshops will take place in June and July. Longer corses from September.
 

​Each workshop will be 2 hours in duration. Refreshments will be provided.
 

Handbuillding Techniques Workshops:

​

1. Natures influence - Slab built jewellery dishes using leaves and flowers for shapes and decorations

​

2. Coiling and Pinch Pot Vases - Learning both techniques and choosing your favourite or both to make a unique vase

​

3. Platters and Serving Dishes - Slab built serving platters and dishes

​

4. Scraffito and clay carving - Build a simple form and use coloured slip and carving techniques to decorate your piece

Longer Courses

​

6 Weeks Beginners Pottery Techniques Course
 

This course will be a 2 hour weekly session for 6 weeks starting in the Autumn that will cover techniques that include wheel throwing, pinch pots, coiling, slab building, decorating with carving and more. At the end you will have 3/4 minimum pieces to take home.

4 Weeks Candle making course

​

This course will be a 2 hour weekly session that covers throwing a cyclinder on the wheel, slab building a cyclinder and understanding and pouring candles using essential oils. At the end you will have at least 2 candles to take home.
