Candle Care & product Safety

Candle Care WARNINGS
 

  • To prevent fire or serious injury burn candle within sight.
     

  • Keep away from drafts and vibrations.
     

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
     

  • Never burn this candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
     

  • Keep the candle free from any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings.
     

  • Only burn candle on a level fire resistant surface and always leave at least 10cm between burning candles.
     

  • Never burn this candle for more than 4 hrs at a time.
     

  • On the first burn, allow 3-4 hrs burn time for an even melt pool.
     

  • Ensure the wick is upright and above the wax before it sets.
     

  • Always trim the wick to 5mm to prevent smoking and damage to the container.
     

  • Container may become hot, allow to cool before handling.
     

  • Extinguish and do not re-light when there is 5mm of wax left in the container.

Candle Allergy and Ingredients Safety

​

Please be aware that all our candles use Soy Wax (vegan) and high quality fragrance oils and essential oils intended specifically for candles.

WARNING:
 

  • May cause an allergic reaction.
     

  • Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
     

  • Keep out of reach of children.
     

  • Avoid breathing vapour.
     

  • If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation or rash appears seek medical advice/ attention
     

  • Dispose of contents to approved disposal site in accordance with local regulations

Ceramic Product Safety

​

  • Ceramics are dishwasher safe but handwashing will lengthen the life of your ceramics
     

  • Please remember that ceramics are breakable and can chip so take care so they don’t bang against hard surfaces, impact against any utensils etc
     

  • Garlic graters or any products that have a grater. Please note that this will be sharp in a similar way to a metal grater. Take care when grating to avoid injury

  • Please use a garlic grater brush to remove garlic from the piece. Don’t use utensils that could damage or chip the grater.

  • If you are at all worried that you may have damaged the grater please discontinue use to avoid any injuries and contact us for advice at lexeceramics@gmail.com

  • Wash garlic graters with warm water as soon as you are done before the food dries on, using a brush to remove any remnants of food.
