Every effort is made to ensure product descriptions, measurements, pricing and photographs are accurate. However, due to the handmade nature of ceramics, slight variations may occur.
Each ceramic piece is handmade individually, meaning slight variations in size, glaze, colour, texture and finish are part of the character and uniqueness of the work.
Due to differences in screen displays and the handmade process, colours and finishes may vary slightly from photographs shown online.

If you cancel your order after goods have been dispatched, items must be returned to LEXE Ceramics as soon as reasonably possible after notifying us of cancellation.
Returned items must be:
-
unused;
-
in their original packaging;
-
and returned in their original condition.
Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
LEXE Ceramics cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during return transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured postal service to ensure safe delivery.
If returned goods arrive damaged or in an unsaleable condition, we may reduce the refund amount to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods.
Refund Process
If you cancel your order before it has been processed or dispatched, a full refund will be issued, including standard delivery charges.
If you cancel after your order has been dispatched:
-
the cost of the products will be refunded once the items have been returned and inspected;
-
original delivery charges are non-refundable;
-
and refunds will only be processed once returned items have been safely received.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original order unless otherwise agreed.
Refunds will be processed without unnecessary delay and no later than:
-
14 days after returned goods are received; or
-
14 days after cancellation if no goods were dispatched.
This cancellation right is separate from and does not affect any additional returns policy offered by LEXE Ceramics.
Refunds for Goods
Refund requests must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.
Refunds cannot be offered for:
-
personalised or custom-made items;
-
used items;
-

-
photographs of the damaged item;
-
photographs of the packaging;
-
and a brief description of the damage.
Please wait for confirmation and return instructions before sending any items back.

Terms & Conditions additional to above related to Workshops
Booking & Payment
By booking and paying for a class, workshop or private session, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
All workshop bookings are made through the online booking system and are subject to availability. Your place is only confirmed once full payment has been received.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 14 days before the workshop date for either:
-
a full refund; or
-
transfer to another available workshop of the same value.
If less than 14 days’ notice is given, bookings become non-refundable and non-transferable. However, you are welcome to send a friend or family member in your place at no additional cost. Please email in advance with their name and contact details.
If you are unable to attend due to illness or unexpected circumstances, please get in touch as soon as possible. While changes within the 14-day period cannot be guaranteed, we will always do our best to help where possible.
Studio Cancellations & Changes
Occasionally workshops may need to be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled due to illness, low attendance or circumstances outside of our control.
If this happens, you will be offered:
-
an alternative date;
-
studio credit; or
-
a full refund.
Unfortunately, LEXE Ceramics cannot accept responsibility for travel, accommodation or any other associated costs relating to workshop bookings.
Private Group Bookings
Deposits for private events, parties and group bookings are non-refundable.
Changes to private bookings may be made with at least 14 days’ notice, subject to availability.
Any remaining balance must be paid before the booking date unless otherwise agreed.
Age Restrictions
Please check the suitability of each workshop before booking.
-
Standard workshops are suitable for ages 16+.
-
Children’s workshops are suitable for ages 4–15 and will be clearly identified within the workshop description.
-
Children must be supervised where stated in the class information.
If you are unsure whether a workshop is suitable, please contact us before booking.
Accessibility & Health
If you have any accessibility requirements, injuries, allergies or health conditions that may affect your participation, please contact us before booking so we can discuss how best to support you.
Some pottery activities can be physically demanding and may not be suitable for everyone.
Please note that the studio currently does not have step-free access or suitable space for wheelchair users during group workshops. However, we would be very happy to discuss ways we may be able to accommodate accessibility requirements for private bookings where possible.
What To Wear
Pottery can be messy, so please wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.
We recommend:
-
short nails where possible;
-
tying back long hair;
-
flat, closed-toe shoes; and
-
bringing an apron if preferred, although aprons will also be available to borrow during the session.
Pottery Collection & Firing
Your pottery will usually be ready for collection approximately 6–8 weeks after your workshop, depending on firing schedules and the type of workshop booked.
You will be notified by email once your work is ready to collect.
Due to limited studio storage space, finished pottery should be collected within 1 month of notification unless otherwise agreed.
Kiln & Glaze Disclaimer
Ceramics is an unpredictable process and, although every care is taken with your work, cracks, breakages, glaze imperfections and firing faults can occasionally occur.
By taking part in a workshop, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Unfortunately, refunds or compensation cannot be offered for pottery damaged during the making, drying or firing process.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers:
-
are valid for 12 months from the purchase date;
-
can be used towards any available workshop;
-
are non-refundable; and
-
may be transferred to another person.
Bookings made using gift vouchers remain subject to the standard cancellation policy.
Photography
Photos and videos may occasionally be taken during workshops for use on social media, the website or promotional materials.
If you would prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please let us know before the session begins.

Your personal information will only be used for workshop administration, booking communication and customer support.
If you choose to join the mailing list, you may occasionally receive updates about workshops, events, offers, LEXE Ceramics news and new product launches. You can unsubscribe at any time.
