Handbuilding a Vase- Pottery Workshop

This 3-hour introductory handbuilding workshop will explore a range of techniques.

During this group session, we will be teaching begginer hand building techniques in the process of creating a vase. We will cover both slab building and coiling, allowing you to choose which method to try as you create your own vase.

We'll also introduce the basics of decorating with underglazes and/ or glazes, and demonstrate how to use sgraffito or carve to complete your piece, all within a single session.

Your piece will then be dried, fired, and glazed with a transparent glaze on the inside (and outside if desired), ready for you to pick up.

• This workshop will have a maximum group number of 5 persons
